Our library services are lending, reference, reprographic, and newspaper clipings. Normally 1300 volumes are under circulation. The number of books issued per day ranges between 125 & 250. The number of visitors per day ranges between 200 & 400
The hostel has excellent living rooms, a dining hall, and a prayer hall. The accommodation maintains high standards of hygiene and provides an uninterrupted power & water supply as well.
Govindammal Aditanar College for Women is the first self-financing college in Thoothukudi district established by Aditanar Educational Institution in the year 1987 with the lofty idea of spreading higher education to the rural masses. Its mission is to impart quality education to the womenfolk and make them to be self-reliant, good and useful citizens of our motherland.
