The College Library was founded in 1987 with a small collection of books. Today the library has grown into a Computerized Bar-coded Open Access system occupying 3,300Sq.ft. with seating capacity of 64 members having access to Text & Reference Books, National & International Journals with Reprographic facility. The college library system caters to the needs of the degree courses conducted by the college. The library acquires all the textbooks and other reading materials prescribed in the syllabus for the courses offered.

Our library is packed with a total collection of 23,848 volumes including pamphlets & back volumes, 326 digital collections & 34 non-book materials. Library subscribes 113 periodicals. Normally 1000 volumes are under circulation. The number of books issued per day ranges between 100 to 175. The number of readers visiting per day ranges between 150 to 280. Loan Service, Reference Service, Reprographic Service, Newspaper Clipping Service, etc., are provided by the library. All the activities of the library are computerized using the software AUTOLIB Version 5.0. This software also enables members to renew, reserve & search the availability of books by browsing the system using OPAC (Open Access Public Catelogue).

To induce the reading habit among the students, the library carries out a programme named CHENDHUR VATTAM through which books are received by the subject specialists. As a measure of motivation, our library instituted the 'Best User Award' for students from the academic year 2006 - 2007.
